Wo yao gen ni zhou ai... like never before.
Tonight, I just learned something ridiculously upsetting and hilarious at the same time... I won't get to celebrate my much awaited Valentine's day with my boyfriend.
Actually, I haven't thought of a concrete plan on how to make this year's celebration hassle-free and frustration-proof. But I've been thinking of some great ideas already... If only I have the license to go ahead with what I believe could be a very promising and brilliant plan... but I didn't want to pre-empt anything that my man might be planning... (wishing and hoping that he is) And then... the hilarious news... His new work requires him to attend a dinner cum reunion party at their office on Valentines day?! *sigh* So much for the plans... Just when I became so free and available for Chinese New Year and Valentine's day since my training back to Manila was postponed to a later date.. now... this...wa ha ha ha....
Life can be very cruel and brutal sometimes when you get to be the butt of its jokes... Howell...so now... I'm thinking if I'm entitled to still have one hot valentine date in lieu of my absentee boyfie? Maybe with someone who may have the initiative to buy me those dozen rosebuds that I've been eyeing for a long time now at Clementi, which are being sold for S$6 freakin' only... I was actually tempted to buy them for myself, just so we could have fresh flowers here at home... and for once, I could refrain myself from picking the spider lilies and other flowers inside our compound...
ha ha, I'm such a cheapo... LMAO... or should I just mope around on that day thinking how pathetic it is to have a boyfriend and yet you can' t spend your most awaited L
VE celebration of the year with him because you can't be together? Ugh! Such a depressing thought...
Would a pre or post valentine celebration suffice? *Sigh again* And I thought being single every Valentines day for 30 plus years was the loneliest...
Job perks:
1. Being issued my own MAC laptop. Now I'm a believer.
2. Travel opportunities to different parts of Asia. What's best is I get to go back home for free since we also have an office in Manila! God is great!
3. The short but refreshing winding road going down to my workplace that reminds me a lot of the zigzag road papuntang UPLB.
4. The yummy and cheap food along Lor Sahad: the Chia Chia Chinese stall, the two duck rice stalls (one with braised duck and other with roasted duck) and the horfun (soupy or dry one with raw egg on top).
5. The great company, as in the people I work with. Their sincere, friendly and caring nature. God bless them.
6. The trip to the banks and the post office.
7. The sound tripping of Christian songs all day long.
