What if...

You get tired... of everything?

You 're fed up?

You're awfully bored?

You're lost?

You don't know where you belong anymore?

You realize that you're still afraid of the big C?

You feel like you're falling out?

You decide to stop... just stop it all?

You want to go back... and just go home?

You have to start from scratch... go back to square one?

... and all you ever want to do is scream at the top of your lungs:  AYOKO NAAAAA!!!!

Dear New Tenant

Welcome to the wonderful Lion City! You may find it very dull and boring since your campus seemed to be very far from civilization. But do not fret, because I am pretty sure that you would get to enjoy your stay as much as I did, especially if you are a nature lover. Anyway, here are some tips and advice for you with regards to the room and the graduate hall:

1. I hope when you arrive, you'd get to see the pillow that I left for you. Don't worry, it has been sun-dried and I don't drool, so it's clean. But then it's up to you if you wanna dispose it or not.

2. If you find the shower heater too hot for you, then you may wanna call the fault repair hotline at 67904777.  I've already called them twice but they've managed to fix it for just a while that's why they didn't grant my request for a replacement of the heater system. But I've realized that it's a recurring thing, not being able to adjust the heater with the right temperature.  It's always either too hot or too cold.

3. Remember to close your windows when you go out and if you suspect that it's going to rain as the water tends to get inside especially during a heavy downpour.

4. You may wanna wash the curtains yourself as soon as you arrive since it hasn't been washed for a very long time.

5. The laundromat is at B2 of your lobby (lobbby 1), just beside the pantry.  If you don't know how to operate the washing machine, then you better ask someone if you get to chance upon a resident doing the laundry too.  It would take you some time to figure out the machines all by yourself.  There's also a dryer where you just have to put in a one-dollar coin for a 30-minute spin of your clothes.

6. There's a fridge, 3 microwave ovens, water cooler and boiling hot water as well at the pantry.

7. Like what I've put on the door fridge, beware of food thieves! A lot of people have been victims of this.  And I hope you're not a food thief yourself. You may wanna buy your own personal fridge if you have the funds.

8. The mailbox is located at lobby 2, B1, if in case you receive a personal letter for me - the old tenant, could you kindly email me at  <enter email add here> please? Thank you so much!

9. Oh! There's an airconditioned lounge with TV at lobby 1 too. Just beside the laundromat.

10. Free shuttle buses inside the campus are available from 8am to 9pm on regular school days, and 8am - 2pm only on Saturdays. No service on Sundays and Public Holidays.

Enjoy your stay and all the best to you and your studies!

From,

The Old Tenant
