Last Sunday, J and I placed a couple of bets on toto (lotto) and 4d ( last-two) for the very first time. And we shelled out a freakin' SDG52?! Ugh! Me and my stupid numbers dream...
Went to NBS lab to research for the firs time. It was cozy, conducive to studying and doing research, considering the faster internet connection. Free flowing freshly-brewed coffee and instant iced tea plus yummy biscuits. Sarap ulit-ulitin!
Tried food at Canteen One for the first time. Roasted De Luxe stall wasn't bad at all. I ordered the salted duck soup with chicken drumstick. Yummy!
Aside: Today was Weng's bday lunch treat at Fish & Co at JP. Had seafood platter for the second time. Sumptuous! Weng was given complimentary ice cream and the crew sang happy birthday to her. A polariod shot of the four of us was taken with fish & co.'s dedication. They gave it to Weng along with a cute fish-shaped yellow pouch. Fun, fun fun!
J's parents didn't like me after all?
They just wanted to see me and "appraise" me just to find out that I'm actually of "no quality"?
They think that everything I told them were all lies?
They have actually spoken ill of me and my family a few days after the meet up?
They think I'm just a social climber, trying to get PR the quickest way?
They think I'm a gold digger as well, who only wants J for his money?
Our age gap is actually a big issue to them?
They wanted J to break up with me, lest he really wants to bang his head to the wall?
They disown him if he doesn't obey his parents?
J decides to run away and actualy disobeys them?
After all that have been said and done... we realize that it's not worth it??? 
Things aren't always what they seem... It's not a happy Chinese New Year after all... 
I'm so torn for my lao gong... And I'm also partly to be blamed
God's will be done. God will make a way for us. In Jesus' name, we claim and pray. Amen.
