Sat - Went to Jurong Bird Park with my fellow Filipina classmate and Boylet 2 aka J. Sabi ni classmate, mas cute daw siya kesa kay Boylet 1. And mas comfortable daw siya kay J kesa kay W ( boylet 1). Well, in fairness, lamang na siya sa isa. Nakakadalawang labas na kami. Rainy day. Daming awkward moments. Si classmate kasi pa-obvious. She would always leave the two of us alone. Conscious tuloy ang lolo. Magastos ang araw na ito ha! Generally, I had a nice time. Tiring. For the record, we were together from 1pm to 9pm. Hinatid pa niya kami sa sakayan. And he texted me at around midnight to ask how I was. It felt eerie na tuloy. Basta may mga instances na hindi kami swak that I had to kinda distance myself from him a bit.
Sun - Hormonal Imbalance. Time of the month. Felt kinda low. Shet, ito na ba ang dreaded homesickness??? Good thing, may walk kami ni classmate. Had dinner with her college friend with Italian bf at Orchard. It was fun. Their treat, kaya dobleng saya! he he he. Nagparamdam na naman si J. ganun lang... Called home - birthday kasi ni sis. Usap hanggang sa maubusan ako ng load. hay hay hay...
It has been 5 days... Five exciting, fun-filled, adventure-some, sometimes lonesome but carry na... eventful days here in Singapore. Nauubos ang pera ko sa load, both smart and globe sims plus ung Singapore sim ko pa. hay hay hay... I'm here at the International Student's Center making use of our access to the internet kasi wala pakong sariling laptop... pathetic... Meantime, back to basics ako... Mega sulat ako sa isang apple green diary notebook - something that I bought here at Popular bookstore that costs around $G2, yung old school na diary with a lock and has a box and the inside seems like an autograph book with all the multicolored paper and quotes... how dandy... he he he... So the very exciting and juicy parts of my first week here I have actually documented there... blow by blow... but here's a summary:
July 24 - No sleep, Cost me 5k for Excess Baggage, Had a Turbulent Flight via Jetstar Asia - parang ayoko ng umulit dito... as in... Smooth trip to NTU via Taxi - $G30!!! Met up with Boylet 1 that night. He actually came all the way from NUS to my hostel (Graduate hall) to see me... awww... He was sweet enough to take us to the nearest mall to buy some groceries. He's ok... (may kilig factor) at may CARousel itech!
July 25 - My classmate (fellow FIlipina) went to Jurong Point, explored the mall ourselves, bought us the ez link card, did some more grocery shopping, etc.
July 26 - Registration and Medical Exam day. Super hectic. I was late for a meet up with Boylet 2 at Boon Lay MRT. He's ok too... way too ok that it gave me the "too good to be true" vibe... He asked me to see Pirates of the Carribean the night before. And since he said it was going to be with his cell groupmates, I somehow hesitantly accepted his invitation. It was fun! We managed to walked along Orchard Road after the movie, but it was only the two of us by then. Stopped by at a hawker's place to have our fill of osyter egg and seafood tau fu. Yummy! Gravash! Ang haba ng hair ko.... he he he While watching the movie, Boylet 1 kept on texting me, asking if I he could visit me that same night!!! yaiks!!! Basta, nagdahilan na lang ako.
July 27 - less stress day. I can't even quite remember what we did this day... hmmm... Dedma si Boylet 1 - nagtampo yata... tsk tsk tsk... while Boylet 2 - non-stop ang texting...
July 28 - Orientation for Graduate Students - no sign of other Filipinos yet.. Got an invitation from Boylet 2 to go out on Saturday. Laundry night... Nakakaaliw ang mga washing machine dito... may sariling utak... he he he... dedma pa rin si Boylet 1... hmp! Loss niya!
Time to leave but I'm NOT READY YET. LITERALLY!!! AAAAAARGH!!!
